Black and white grid rates:

• 1 column = 1.7 in.

1/4 page 4-color ad (9.2 in. x 7 in.) — $150 (Save $18)
1/2 page 4-color ad (11.1 in. x 10 in.) — $290 (Save $32)
3/4 page 4-color ad (11.1 in. x 15 in.) — $340 (Save $46)
Full page 4-color ad (11.1 in. x 20 in.) — $500 (Save $50)

Package discounts:
3-4 ads = 5% discount
5-6 ads = 10% discount
7 or more ads = 15% discount

Packages must begin and end within an academic semester. Exceptions may be made at the
discretion of the Advertising Consultants. Packages may be combined in any way in terms of
color or size. At least half the price of a package deal must be pre-paid, the remainder may be paid up to two weeks after the last ad is published. On-campus groups are eligible for larger discount rates.

If an order for a package discount is canceled before the package is complete, the price will revert to the flat grid fee plus a $25 administrative fee retroactive for all ads in the order.

Building ads:
The Record will build ads for no additional charge. The client provides the text message of the ad as well as a detailed description and sketch of how the ad is to appear. The Record will create
graphics or photo graphics to finish the ad.

Classifieds:
The rate of classifieds is $10 for the first 25 words and $0.20 for each additional word. All classified advertisements must be pre-paid.

A “run-till-it-sells” option for classifieds selling personal items may be purchased for an additional $15. This type of classified will be printed until the item is reported sold or until the end of the semester, whichever comes first. It is the advertiser’s responsibility to report a sold item.

The Record does not accept personal classifieds involving dating.

Ad rate cards are available by land mail, fax or e-mail.

Advertisers are required to pre-pay until they have established credit with The Record. An advertiser will gain credit after placing and pre-paying for three ads.
